Pricing

Cotillion is sold by subscription, billed pay-as-you-go — a flat monthly base plus metered usage for the users and vendor integrations you add. Each Cotillion product is its own subscription; your subscription includes that product’s full feature set — pricing changes only how many users and vendor integrations you run, never which features you get.

The plan

Base subscription$100 / month — the full platform plus 1 vendor integration
UsersYour first user is free; additional users $0.00685 / user / hour (≈ $5 / user / month)
Additional vendor integrations$0.13699 / integration / hour (≈ $100 / integration / month)

All prices are in USD. Usage above the base is metered per hour and billed monthly — see How billing works.

How billing works

A committed monthly base, plus usage metered hourly and billed monthly.

  • Base billed in advance — charged at the start of each monthly cycle.
  • Usage metered hourly, billed monthly — additional users and vendor integrations are metered every hour and totalled into one monthly invoice.
  • Billed for what you have, not for runtime — the meter counts the users and vendor integrations on your account; turning a connection off without removing it does not lower the bill.
  • Additions are prorated — add a user or integration mid-month and you are charged only from the time you add it.
  • Removals apply next cycle — removing stops the charge from your next monthly cycle; the current month is not prorated down.
  • One invoice — base and usage are billed together, once a month.

Users and vendor integrations are managed by you from the Cotillion dashboard, at any time, with no contract amendment.

Estimate your bill

Example — 3 users and 2 vendor integrations for a full month:

ItemQuantity billedMonthly cost
Base subscription1$100
Additional users (above the 1 included)22 × $5 = $10
Additional vendor integrations (above the 1 included)11 × $100 = $100
Total$210 / month

Add-on figures are full-month amounts (the per-hour rate × the hours in the month, roughly 730 hours). Mid-month additions are prorated: a second vendor integration added on the 15th costs about half — close to $50 — that first month, then the full amount thereafter. Because usage is metered by actual hours, a 31-day month bills slightly more than a 28-day one for the same add-ons.

Where to subscribe

Cotillion is available through two channels. Both meter usage identically (hourly) and bill monthly; only the invoice differs:

  • Direct — pay by card, processed securely by Stripe. Managed from Settings → Subscription.
  • AWS Marketplace — subscribe with your AWS account; charges appear on your AWS bill under your agreed terms. The add-on rate is shown per hour and totals to the same monthly amount.

After subscribing through AWS Marketplace you are returned to Cotillion to finish setting up your account.

Managing your subscription

Everything is self-service from Settings → Subscription:

  • View your current users and vendor integrations, and how many the plan includes.
  • Add or remove users and vendor integrations at any time.
  • Update payment details or cancel — through the Stripe billing portal (direct) or your AWS Marketplace subscriptions (AWS).

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free trial? Free trials are offered through AWS Marketplace where available. Contact [email protected] to evaluate Cotillion.

What counts as a user? Each person with a login to your Cotillion organization. Every account includes one user at no charge; additional users are $5/user/month.

What counts as a vendor integration? Each connected vendor program — the link Cotillion maintains to a vendor’s portal for deal registration and program orchestration. The base plan includes one; additional integrations are $100/integration/month.

If I remove a user or integration, do I get a refund for the rest of the month? No. Removals take effect at the next billing cycle; you keep and are billed for what you have until the current period ends.

Is the rate hourly or monthly? Add-ons are metered hourly and billed monthly — the per-hour rate is totalled across the month into one invoice. The monthly figures above are full-month totals.

Why isn’t my monthly total identical every month? Usage is metered by actual hours, and months differ in length (28–31 days), so the add-on portion varies slightly. The base is a flat amount and does not vary.

Is there an annual option? Not currently — both channels are billed monthly.

Do I need to talk to sales to change my plan? No. Adding and removing users and vendor integrations is fully self-service.
